Winning Numbers: Yamaha and Nexo Reinforce The 2017 X World Games

3,500 athletes from 112 nations, 1,600 volunteers, 201 events, 31 sports, 26 venues, 250,000 visitors and a televised audience of over 12 million are just some of the numbers which sum up the 2017 X World Games. For Yamaha and Nexo the numbers were equally impressive, with 25 mixing consoles, 18 R-series i/o units, 412 loudspeakers and a combined six kilometres of Cat5/6, fibre optic, speaker and power cable!

Dual Yamaha PM10s for Nickelback Tour

As part of the current Nickelback “2017 Feed the Machine Tour” CLAIR Global is providing dual Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Consoles for front of house and monitors. The tour also includes special guest performances by Daughtry, Shaman’s Harvest, and Cheap Trick.

Swarovski, Tord Boontje And Yamaha Collaborate During London Design Festival 2017

London Design Festival 2017 (September 16th - 24th) sees the global launch of Tord Boontje’s new collection of chandelier and crystal lighting components, designed exclusively for Swarovski Crystal Palace in his 15th year of collaboration with Swarovski. The installation includes a highly innovative soundscape which was created in collaboration with sound artist Manabu Shimada and is presented via a surround sound system provided by Yamaha.

ProVisionaire Touch iPad Application V1.3 Released

ProVisionaire Touch, the iPad app that allows users to easily create original control panels and control audio installations from a tablet device, has been updated to version 1.3. The update adds support for Blu-ray Disc Players and MusicCast compatible AV receivers. And also support the MTX/MRX series SD card player function. A single iPad can now control an even greater range of music and video contents in installations built around MTX or MRX series processors.
