We visited STAR*TECH, a PA company, which owns a rack mount type model TF-RACK, for this interview. The company has been utilizing the TF-RACK as a main mixer for small and medium sized events, as well as a sub-mixer for larger scenes. Yamaha’s TF series, digital mixer for PA, have characteristics of compact bodies and intuitive operability with their touch panels. In this episode, we will focus on some examples on introducing rack mount type. TF-RACK is a new model that was released at the end of 2017, which realized further miniaturization from the traditional surface type model. The 3U casing is a compactly equipped with 16 microphones and 16 line in-and line outs, having a maximum mixing capacity of 40 line ins. Moreover, it can be connected with the audio network, Dante by adding an expansion board NY64-D. Since We have heard that it is being used in SHIKI THEATRE COMPANY’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, I have visited the venue KAAT (Kanagawa Arts Theatre) for an interview.

Recently, the company tackled the installation of a Yamaha Active Field Control (AFC) system in the new 809-seat multi-purpose auditorium at Baldwinsville (NY) High School. Yamaha Offers RiverLife Church, Singapore an Experience with RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Mixing System

Located in Pasir Ris, RiverLife Church was established in 1988 as a central gathering point for worshippers residing in the eastern heartland of Singapore. The church was previously known as Bartley Christian Church (Pasir Ris Centre) before being officially renamed as an independent body in the year 2000. Yamaha And Nexo Star In An Out Of This World Concert

A spectacular classical concert heralded the New Year in the city of Montbéliard, eastern France, where an audience of 6400 at the Axone theatre enjoyed the Victor Hugo Franche-Comté Philharmonic Orchestra playing music from Holst’s The Planets, John Williams’ music to the Star Wars film franchise and pieces by William Russo which linked the orchestra with a blues band. There are currently just two Volvo “Downtown Stores” (brand concept stores) in the world; the first in Milan, Italy, and the second in Aoyama, Tokyo, opened in October 2017. Volvo Studio Aoyama features a café and hosts a variety of events designed to introduce Swedish culture and the Volvo brand philosophy to a wider audience. Yamaha VXS5W speakers and VXS10SW subwoofers were chosen for the sound system in this innovative concept store. We asked Mr. Noriyoshi Sekiguchi, director of Marketing Department at Volvo Car Japan Limited, and Ms. Keiko Sano, Studio director at Volvo Studio Aoyama about the store concept. Mr. Hideki Takayama, producer with Visual Solution Department at TAKENAKA Co Ltd, provided some technical details behind the decision to use Yamaha speakers.
