Country Artist Clay Walker Tours With Yamaha CL5s

Clay Walker started out in the Texas honky-tonk scene before gaining national recognition as a country artist. Touring regularly year-round, he recently purchased dual Yamaha CL5 Digital Audio Consoles and two Rio3224-D I/O boxes through Pro Acoustics of Salado, Texas for front of house and monitor use. Alan Wentz serves as both front of house engineer and production manager for Walker. Chris Carter is Walker’s monitor engineer.

In 2017 RCA Records Nashville artist Chris Young became the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry and released Losing Sleep, his seventh album and second consecutive record to debut at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart. Young is kicking off 2018 headlining the “Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour,” performing at arenas seating 6,000-10,000.

Engineer for Katy Perry Tour Is A “Witness” to Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Versatility

Katy Perry’s “Witness World Tour” began in the fall of 2017 and continues on through 2018 with shows happening from Texas and Nevada to the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia before heading internationally through summer. Front of house engineer Toby Francis (CLAIR Global Los Angeles) is mixing on a Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console. CLAIR Global is providing production for the “Witness World Tour.”

AMG Performance Center, Kyobashi was opened in October 2017 by YANASE CO., LTD., one of the most traditional import-car dealers in Japan since 1915. Yamaha VXS5 and VXS5W surface-mount speakers, a VXS10ST subwoofer, and a PA2120 power amplifier were installed to deliver sound throughout the showroom. We spoke to Mr. Noriyoshi Aoyama, supervisor at the AMG Performance Center, and Mr. Takashi Okada, sound designer and planner with Master Mind Productions, Inc. the company commissioned to produce the audio installation.

Mega-Baptist Church Upgrades with Dual Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Consoles

The First Baptist Church Woodstock is a mega-church in the northwestern Atlanta suburb of Woodstock, Georgia and a congregation that is especially concerned with community outreach. Its traditional worship sanctuary seats 7,200 with a 60-piece orchestra and 150-voice choir. They have been a part of the Yamaha Digital Console family ever since its two PM1Ds were installed 15 years ago, and it became time to upgrade to two new state-of-the-art PM10 RIVAGE Digital Audio Consoles. The consoles were purchased through Capitol Design Group, Jacksonville, FL.
